The 2009 release from U.D.O. is simply a flat out awesome slice of screaming heavy metal old school style. Rip your guts out vocals, shredding guitars and a powerful bass and drum section all combining together to rock your socks off.
Just about the entire album has a fast charging tempo to it. I loved the anthemic "Heavy Metal Heaven". The slamming "Speed Demon" and title track are fantastic. "Infected" kicks you in the teeth.
I think my favorite track is the song "Devil's Rendevous". It is very fast moving but the vocal delivery from Udo Dirkschneider is a bit different. It has a lighter touch in the presentation. It is almost done in what I can only describe as a light-hearted take.
The only real song that I took issue with was the very slow to mid-tempo album closer "Whispers In the Dark". It wasn't a terrible song by any means but it felt kind of off to me. It closed the album on a down note for me, instead of a rocker track that left you with whiplash at the end.
The CD also includes a video clip for the song "Black and White".
All in all, this album is another album that falls under the "Holy crap this is fantastic" U.D.O. albums.

For me it is Man and Machine, Thunder Ball, Mission No. X and now Dominator.
Have you heard the newest one? Rock N roll Soldiers was pretty cool. I U.D.O. really isn't known much in the states anymore. After Accept it all kind of fizzled out! :(
