Classic Rock Bottom

Peter Criss has lived the rock and roll lifestyle as the founding drummer of KISS and now he’s ready to tell all. In the fall of 2012, Criss will release his autobiography, Makeup to Breakup, via Scribner. Criss is writing the book with Larry “Ratso” Sloman.

“From sex, drugs, and rock ’n’ roll to multiple brushes with death, Makeup to Breakup will be Peter Criss’ unvarnished and eye-opening life story,” announced a press release.

“I am so blessed that I am finally going to write my autobiography, and I hope you enjoy the ride,” Criss said in the release. “The best of all is I get to share my true feelings of my love for God, family, friends and fame. It’s been a wonderful life.”

Criss helped form KISS and took on his role as “The Catman.” He’s since reunited with fellow founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley twice, the last time in 2004.

The more I think about it, the more I would like to read it....
Yeah, well, it could be great to hear/see the whole storie from Criss's ears/eyes, and I do hope, he won't hold back on anything.
First, this is kinda like the Van Halen saga, I'll believe it when I see it.  I'll definitely buy it and read it, if it actually sees the light of day.  I think he's been talking about a book for years.  I see Peter as definitely 25% of the original Kiss and Kiss sound, no doubt about it to me.  And I absolutely hated it when he left the band.  But sometimes I think where Gene is referred to as Dr. Love, Pete may be referred to as Dr. B.S.  Of course, gene goes by that name as well.  Anyway, I'll definitely buy it.
