With the discussion of Michael Sadler returning to Saga this week, it kinda put a weird spotlight on the bands last album. The Human Conditon will be forever known as the only Saga album with a singer other than Sadler.
I loved the old Saga, but this sounded fresh, a break from the old style. I liked the new vocalist and the band really seemed to take to him. I wont pretend to know if there was an issue with Moratti, I kinda get the feeling that there wasn't.
I suppose in the interest of the fans they probably felt the future direction of the band was best suited for them to allow Sadler back. This was a nice album however you look at it, its worth picking up in my mind, and now its even better since its a one of a kind!

I had to go back and see what I said about this one when you posted it in NMC. It seems as though I liked it back then. But now I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely decent. I had no problem listening all the way through, but I can't say that anything caught me in a way that makes me want to buy it, which is exactly the opposite of what I said for the NMC post. Funny how time can play that game. But I'm glad you posted it, it's always great giving something new a listen (new to me that is).
