This is another of those Theme Series I have long thought about doing.

I am finally getting around to it.

I like the Rain- of course I like Snow better- but Rain can be very enjoyable, romantic, calming and a whole lot of other things...including ruining a special day, lol!

Without a doubt, I will hit on some songs you have forgotten about and have not heard in years in this Series.

And for the sake of accuracy, I will even start with that period just before it Rains.

Let's have some musical fun and get wet together!

I love songs about rain.  Nice collection of tunes Mike. 

 

I'm familiar with two of them, No Rain by Blind Melon and Let It Rain by Eric Clapton.  All the rest are new to me.

 

While all of the songs were pretty good, the choice for the Golden Pell is quite easy.  I'm going with Poco.  I bet Scott likes this one too.  Love the vocals.  At the very beginning, I thought it might be something featuring John Fogerty. 

 

The Buffalo Springfield tune was kinda psychedelic and pretty good, as was the Simon & Garfunkel (pretty good that is, not psychedelic).  Those two guys voices together just blend so well.
