Totally dig that first song Mike. The Kinks are a staple for you. And the guitar work was impressive. So I'm giving the Golden Pell to The Kinks right off the bat.
I prefer the first version of Jukebox Saturday Night that you played.
After that, the oldie feel just multiplied. Maybe a bit too much oldies for me.
The only real competition for The Kinks and the GP was Rickie Lee Jones. Jukebox Fury was cool, but not good enough to win the GP.
Oh man, Gwen Stacy dies in the new Spiderman movie.
You love being a SPOILER, don't you, lol?
Gwen Stacy dies in the new Spiderman movie. Tee hee, I ruined another one!
"With a fury"? Nick Fury? But he's dead! Ooops, ruined yet another movie.
Soda pop. Not used any more. Now it's either "soda" or "pop". It should be "soda", "pop" sounds too silly.
You went completely old school on this show except for the first and last song. Ok, they're also old, but not as old as the others. I guess you could say that every song was old school. That's deep. That also makes me wonder what "old music" actually is now.
How many time can I use "? Is there a limit?
Anyway, for some reason anything from around '65 and later is considered old to me. Anything from '65 on isn't. Why is that?
Cool show.
"Jukebox".
"Juke box".
There was a song about a jukebox hero you know........
