First off, I'm no longer able to post at work. So here are a few things I jotted down at work today:
Nice to hear this whole album.
Doolin-Dalston I never really paid attention to. It's a very good song.
Desperado was way overplayed. However, it is a great track. I always think of the Seinfeld episode when I hear it.
Certain Kind Of Fool - Meisner sounds terrific, but I'd really love to hear a Walsh vocal on it.
Best song - Tequila Sunrise - Frey's smooth vocal is one of his best.
Jon,
Yeah, I guess Dueling Banjos would have been a better line.
I see it’s Monday Morning, and you are Quarterbacking, lol!
And for an 8-year old show too!
For shame!
I probably had some water then, I switched to coffee as the years went on.
Is Quick Draw McGraw a band, and whatever happened to them and their concept, lol?
Sure the songs are at least decent, a requirement or I wouldn’t have done it.
Yes I am playing every song on the album.
With a closer by someone entirely different and nothing to do with the Eagles,
Be there, LOL!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Damn. I thought you were going to say something along the lines of "not dueling, like banjos". That would have been funny. You can go back and George Lucas the show.
Did you take a drink there? I hear some swallowing after you mention Jason Granger.
Is it really that strange to have a concept album so early into a band's career? I'm sure there are bands whose first album is a concept album. Right? RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT????!!!!
Quick Draw McGraw!!!
This was the most I have heard from this album. I'm not a big Eagles fan, but the songs I haven't heard before are kinda decent.
So, are you playing every song off this album?
There are no birthdays today
