Yet another good set of tunes Mr. Musicman.
The Kinks. I feel like you have played them at some point in the past. Not just them, but this song in particular. I like it.
The little blues section was quite good. The Captain Beefheart was interesting. I'm not familiar with him or the band, not sure which it is, in the least. Definitely liked the Haggard tune.
And of course, the ladies. Kinda thought you might play She Works Hard For The Money by Donna Summer. The best of that bunch was the McCartney song, but of course I have heard that one. Buddy Holley and the Crickets rocked too.
At first I thought I'd give the Golden Pell to The Crystals. But I think I liked the Alan Price song just a little bit better. So it gets the esteemed award.
Maybe she was a riveter. I know what you're thinking, but Annie was probably riveting stuff.
The Alan Price song sound like a Beatles song or, more specifically, a Ringo song.
1940's music? That's so cool.
Captain Beefheart? You haven't played any Captain Beefheart before. Have you? You mention Captain Beefheart and I immediately think of Trout Mask Replica. Don't know why since I have never owned that album or even heard anything from it, as far as I know.
Anyway, nice show now I gotta go.
