I saw it and responded.
I got no notice.
Still have then for Coffee Show, I'll get to you, lol!
Hold on.....I did post a comment of 7/18. What's your major malfunction????
I didn't skip it, just didn't leave a comment. Can tell you I probably felt the same as with the other ones.
Jon,
Don’t pick on Scott, lol!
The Mick does, but I notice you skipped Pt.3.
That had the Monas in it- by Bo Diddley and the Stones.
As much as I love Bo’s I think the Stones one is better!
Was wondering what you thought.
Oh yeah, and the Mets suck, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
This was better but I still wasn't 100% into it.
Now, I'm going to disregard everything Scott says since he started listening to the Stones, oh, about a week ago? So he really knows nothing.
I do have to say the Mick does sound good even though he's 90 years old.
Yeah, CYHMK is a killer track. KILLER!
Me too.
When I need a wakeup jolt better than coffee, it's "Can't You Hear Me Knockin', lol!
Good point, I love the Mick Taylor era though so its my go to bunch of albums. I'm still learning about the Stones...
Scott,
Don't forget, Brian Jones was in the group then- so some of that guitar work is by him.
He let Keith play lead, but Brian had his shining moments.
And they say he could play anything- just pick up any instrument, a sitar, a trombone, anything, and teach himself to play it!
Mick's always been surprising on the harmonica, glad he picked it back up for that album.
Those old songs ROCKED, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Really love the guitar work on these tracks, its not really a Stones trademark, at least since Mick Taylor went away, but I also really like Jaggers work on the harmonica. What a pleasant surprise that is!
