We were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, so I thought we might go back for their Definitive Sound.
Rock & Roll, from its earliest days, most assuredly owes a debt to the artists who came out of that relatively small city.
And it was very difficult making the selections for this show- so much Music I had to choose from, so many folks I had to leave out.
But I did the best I could with my picks, and now I'll get to see if you like them.
Fish Frys, Good Times, Original Versions of Songs You Know By Others, the Legendary Producer & Writer Allen Toussaint, a Boxer named Kid Chocolate who became a Singer- and that's just the first half, with more of it to come in the second.
You know something?
I Like It Like That!

I had to go back and listen.
THAT'S FUNNY...COME ON,LOL!
Uhhh...yes. You might need to listen to your show?
Tomato thing?
What tomato thing?
I did a tomato thing, lol?
I think it was that tomato thing.
Jon,
Good ears!
It's EIGHT years old, lol!
I could either have done a NEW Fat Tuesday show or replay the old- once committed to the old I figured I'd just play the followup.
What tipped you?
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
Hmm...this sounded like a repeat.
