Classic Rock Bottom

BOO!

How childish can that be? I mean, how else can I start this off?

Stupid.

Just stupid.

Anyway, Halloween is coming up so I figured that I might as well post an album that's scary. Something that evokes absolute, 100% terror. Something that'll send chills down your spine.

Alas, I have no albums from Kiss so my dream was almost a no-go.

So....I'm doing the next best thing and featuring an album from Iced Earth, namely their 2001 release aptly titled (for this time o' the season), "Horror Show".

It fits quite nicely into the Halloween spirit by featuring songs about monsters and total evilness! What more could you ask for?

Maybe not a "lost" album or a "forgotten" album but music that fits quite nicely into this time of year.

I'm back to the short, choppy sentences!

BOO!

Horror Show

1. Wolf

2. Damien

3. Jack

4. Ghost Of Freedom

5. Im-Ho-Tep (Pharaoh's Curse)

6. Jekyll & Hyde

7. Dragon's Child

8. Transylvania

9. Frankenstein

10. Dracula

11. The Phantom Opera Ghost

Availability: Quite available!

MSoTW: Due to the lack of interest, no more mystery songs. Blame yourself. The last three, which nobody guessed, were Widespread Panic, Tears For Fears and Electric Love Hogs. So there!

About 2200 I believe. However, I think Gordon might have that beat?

I have over 2050 CDs, my CD list isn't 100% complete anymore. I'm not sure how many cassettes and vinyl.

The store where I was buying vinyl is going out of business, so I am going to go raid it tonight! No work tomorrow!!! :)

In the last couple of years, 3 of the stores, where I was buying cd's and music-DVD's are gone out of business, so these days, I either order cd's and DVD's on the net, or download music from ITunes. I can easily see a not too far away future, where you ONLY download music and films from the net, sadly, because it IS cool, to have a cd/DVD/vinyl in your hands.

I think, I've got 1000 cd's and 500 vinyl-records(some-where)

Same thing about magazine's. Two of the magazine's, I used to buy in the stores, CLASSIC ROCK and UNCUT, I now get send to me on the net, and one of these days, I'm gonna buy an IPad2, so I can read them at the breakfast-table. The only mag, that I buy in the stores these days, is CLASSIC ROCK PRESENTS PROG.

Not sure about that! Now, if I counted all the vinyl, and all the cassettes, along with the CD's...

well, I'm not sure I can count that high...

I have around 400 cassettes nicely and safely packed away in case I ever move to the South and get me a pickup truck.

Vinyl I probably only have a couple hundred. What really hurts is the amount of vinyl I have lost over the years from moves (and someone selling a batch of albums behind my back cause they were scum.) Oh well.

Hey, I'm from the south, but I dont drive a pick-em-up truck!!

But I do have a nice cassette player in my 2004 Toyota, and another cassette player with my home stereo. So, yes I still listen to my mix-tapes! A lot....

But I'm gonna guestimate here....still have 600 to 700 albums, probably around 300 cassettes (which well over 100 are mix tapes! I remember Jon saying mix-tapes were "a labor of love"...yes indeed!!). And I probably have around 700 CD's I think...so I'm not as big of a collector as some of you rock dawgs!!

But I do indeed "have the sickness"! The last two times I went "music shopping" at the used CD store, I bought 17, and then 21! I need to do a post on the "purchased CD's" thread!
