Maybe because there's no typing involved, just a remote control, lol!
Sounds easier to me!
Yeah, I have that channel, but never watch it. Why bother when you can get all this crap from the internet?
Ok, you're right, I did say that.
My friend has a new channel on Direct TV, it's called The Weather Nation- all the same stuff as the old one, favorite cities, etc.
So he's happy again!
Do you have that?
Of course you are not one of the Weather Channel's minions Jon, those lying bastards.
Why I oughtta...lol!
Yeah, you mentioned brand. C'mon!
"His brand of radicalism got him in big trouble, while I am still waiting for mine, lol!"
How soon we (you) forget!
Oh, and I DID get the weather forecast from The Weather Channel site. They probably figured out that I wasn't one of their stupid minions to bow down and switch cable companies and have decided to give me false weather reports just to get back at me. Today it'll probably be an ice storm and the sun will hit the earth, yet they claim it'll be sunny and in the 30's. Lying bastards!
Yesterday evening, I checked the weather and it said that we would get 3-6 inches overnight. What the hell is going on? The weather "experts" couldn't see the snow coming 24 hours earlier? What kind of friggin' world do we live in WHEN I CAN'T GET AN ACCURATE WEATHER FORECAST??!!
Hey Mike, it's difficult to listen to that song by The Byrds and not wanna sing along. Great melody and great vocals on that one. I missed the link to Seeger. Did he write that or something?
I'm not sure what that second song was. It was quite weird if you ask me. Jon probably loved it.
And the whole time I'm listening to Wamaway or whatever that was called, I was thinking of The Lion Sleeps Tonight. You can certainly hear the connection.
If I Had A Hammer is probably a little bit too folk for my tastes. But that's just me.
Waste Deep In The Big Muddy, now that's a cool song. Easily my favorite "new to me" song you played today, so that one will take home a bright and shiny Golden Pell.
And I liked the follow-up almost as much (Where Have All The Flowers Gone). That song reminded me of the Statler Brothers for some reason.
Nice show my friend.
This past Sunday, I checked the weather for the week and no snow was mentioned.

What are you waiting for? A brand? I'll brand you. Just give me an iron and a hot flame and I'll brand the crap outta you!
Nice show though, lots of music that I've heard before. Strange, the Harry Chapin song ended with some heavy geetar, at least for him.
Hopefully you're working on your Shirley Temple show? Aren't you?
