Funny, my favorite song to this point is The Red And The Black.  And I used to never be a fan of really long songs that weren't named Free Bird.  The guitar is terrific on that track as well as the whole album.  And I agree with your statement on the final song, very gorgeous piece of music.

My favorite song is "Death Of A clown" or the title-song. I'm definitely one of those, that hadn't bought a Maiden-album for decades, and really like this one. I THINK, that other "oldtime-fans" like me, are drawn by the magnificent album-cover, which looks like a Derek Riggs-drawing, but isn't. And the fact, that the album has a good single and a good title-song, make it seems like the good old Maiden-days. Good review, and I mostly agree.
