Folks, it's giveaway time, and since a few new members are always welcome, we're gonna do the giveaway through a membership drive.  We would love to hit the magic number of 100 members really soon.  So here's what we'll do.  Every new member between today and the day we hit 100 members will be eligible to win.  The winner will be chosen by random drawing.  Your odds are pretty good because we currently have 83 members.  So one of only 17 people will win one of the following (winner's choice):

Now the first item (The Ultimate Kansas CD) is very slightly used, but it's in excellent condition.  Items number two and three (Them Crooked Vultures S/T CD and Tipton, Entwistle and Powell Edge Of The World CD) are still in the shrink wrap.

But this giveaway isn't necessarily just for the new members, so all current members take note.  If the new member mentions an established member when they sign up, that established member get's to pick from the remaining two CD's.  So it's really two giveaways in one.

Let's get the word out to friends, family and anyone else that will listen and bump our membership up to 100.  Remember, it's a totally free CD, so join or get someone to join so Classic Rock Bottom can get your new CD out to you.

You need to throw out that line "If each member gets just one person to join, we can double our membership"!  It never works, it's just what you say when you're trying to recruit.

How 'bout I take out insurance on my iPad, hit you upside the head with it, make an insurance claim to get myself a new iPad, then give you the old, broken one that I hit you with.  Would that work?
