Classic Rock Bottom

One of our CRB members, Drew Gaddy, was celebrating his anniversary with his wife in Savannah Ga. this past weekend, when he began to experience chest pains. They decided to cut the trip short & head home, but the pain became too great & his wife being a nurse, decided to stop at the hospital in Statesboro Ga., where they determined he had complete blockage in the left side of his heart. They flew him back to Savannah for emergency surgery, where he had a double bypass. I went down & saw him last night as he began to awake from his surgery. Still groggy, he was able to recognize family & friends. Later, they removed the breathing tube & this morning he is up having breakfast.

This just reminds us of how fragile our lives are & how quickly things can change. So grateful, that Drew was given warning signs & had time to react & seek treatment. Please keep my friend & his family in your thoughts & prayers, as we wish him a rapid recovery!
