Heres a SHT first, were heading to the Movies.
So this one is short and simple, we're looking at soundtracks. Heres the deal, I don't own very many but the ones I do have are pretty cool. I know Jon did some things in the Lost Album posts from early on with soundtracks, and back when MSOTW was a thing around here soundtracks also made brief appearances, but since then? Nothing... nada... a big zero
So which soundtracks do you own?

FM. That one was great. This looks very interesting. I'll dive in tomorrow.
Up The Creek had a cool soundtrack:
"Up The Creek" - Cheap Trick
"The Heat" - Heart
"30 Days In The Hole" - Kick Axe
"Great Expectations" - Ian Hunter
"Chasin' The Sky" - Beach Boys
"Get Ready Boy" - Shooting Star
"Passion In The Dark" - Danny Spanos
"Take It" - Shooting Star
"Two Hearts On The Loose" - Randy Bishop
"Get Ready Boy" - Instrumental - Shooting Star
I used to have this, no longer though.
Dazed & Confused and Boogie Nights are also very good, so good they have 2 albums apiece.
Maybe it's just me and the small group of friends I had, but the Heavy Metal soundtrack was a must own. The move itself really isn't that great now...actually, it really wasn't that good back then even though there were nekkid chicks. Iron Eagle, decent soundtrack, movie kinda sucked. Say Anything, saw it once and that was that. Never had the soundtrack.
Funny thing about One Vision, it was on "A Kind Of Magic" which is basically the soundtrack to "Highlander".
Good list, I really have always liked that Nazareth song, I actually played it twice cause I like it so.
And of course the hugely popular Riggs and Trust!
Somehow this playlist starts with One Vision. Anyway, that's a decent song. Except at the end, when he, for some reason, says "fried chicken". That's just really weird.
I think Mike Pell played that song by The Ravyns recently. I don't remember what I thought of it then, but I kinda like it now. I think it's better than One Vision.
I recall nothing about the song In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel. I was just never a fan so I never gave it a chance. But my wife likes it a lot, which made me listen to it a bit closer, and now I like it too. It's really a beautiful song.
The Heavy Metal soundtrack is the only one of these I own. This Nazareth song is quite cool. I've never listened to the soundtrack, just have never gotten around to it. I've also never seen the movie. Actually, Fast Times is the only one of these I've seen.
So what do I own? As I said, Heavy Metal. Also, Born On The Fourth Of July. I like that soundtrack but haven't spun it in quite some time. I know I own a couple more, but can't think of what they are. I bought the FM soundtrack on vinyl for a buck a while back. I was totally excited about it, then got home and noticed only one of the two album was inside. Bummer. But just look at the tracklist for that badboy:
Not a bad bunch of music at all. I used to own the soundtrack to The Big Chill. It was cool, but I don't know where it went to.
Forrest Gump is a good soundtrack as well.
FM is allright as a movie, WKRP is better though. Cool music on that show and I get a kick seeing all the posters around the station.
