Classic Rock Bottom

Thinking that you've come to the wrong place?

Wondering why Sarah Brightman is featured this second week of our month long tribute to women in music?

Why not?

Sure, it's from my softer side, but good music is good music and, hey, this actually rocks a bit (yep, there's geetar solos!).

I can bore you with the history or Sarah Brightman, but what's the point? She has an incredible voice and that should be good enough. Besides, this internet thing probably has a bunch of history regarding Ms. Brightman, so search away!

"Dive" was released in 1993 and is loosely based on all things to do with water, which includes a song originally done by Procol Harum. As an extra, extra bonus, there's no duets with anyone from Kiss!

So it's not hard rock. More along the lines of power ballads but, if they're done right, power ballads can be a good thing.

Put away the PBR, grab a glass of wine (not the boxed stuff), turn off the lights and take a listen to "Dive".

MSoTW: Congrats to Scott for knowing last week's mystery track and leaving hints for others. Gonna continue with this, so there's a new one this week.

Extra Note: If you haven't, watch "Repo: The Genetic Opera" featuring Sarah Brightman, that guy from "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and a cameo by a female rocker who'll be featured next week.

What's Going On Here? Are you forming a Viking Clan, for a hostile take over of this site? Should we split up in factions & have separate houses?

We Will start by infiltrating this site, and then later burn down Your villages and do funny stuff with your women, unless certain people on this site, starts to play some decent heavy viking rock and roll Music.
By the way, we're only taking back, what is ours, since Erik Den Røde (Eric The Red) discovered America centuries before Columbus. He lost it in a game of cards.
That's why native americans looks like natives from Greenland, and Greenland IS danish!!!

My Ancestry is Swedish, does that count?

You're welcome to join us, Scott. Then we'll leave YOUR village alone, but you'll have to change your name to Thorleif.

How did we go from Sarah Brightman to KISS in a Viking boat!  only on Rock Bottom!

Well Scott, you know on this site, no matter what the topic is, it always comes back to KISS!!!

Dude has a point...

Viking musik vil pisse på Kiss!

Osse i den grad.

Umm...say what? Something about a degree?

Google Translate sucks.
