Ok, here's the story on this week's pick:

A song from this album was featured as the MSoTW last week. However, just to be an ass, I gave little to no clues about who it was.

With threats of violence to my person, I was told to post the whole album as this week's Lost/Forgotten album, without giving away any clues (at this time).

So that's what I am going to do! For you!

Clues will come later, but when you listen to the album, try and guess who it sounds like (especially the singer). Is it who you think it is? It could be, but then again it could not be. That's the fun of thi whole shebang.

Some of you might be wondering how I stumbled across this album. And, just to waste your time, I'm gonna tell ya.

On one of her many trips to the Salvation Army store (it's an Ebay thing, don't ask) my life partner found a stack of CD's taped together with packing tape. Thinking I would enjoy her find, she gave them to me and let me deal with getting them unstuck.

There were ten discs and out of those ten I pulled back three. The rest went on Ebay. Of those three, one was from Goddo, another from an artist named Angelique and the third was from this week's pick. I had heard about the album from melodicrock.com and remembered that it got some very high marks (hint?).

The first time I played it, I was underwhelmed. The second time I had it in my stack of stuff to listen to whie driving to and from work. I was still underwhelmed.

A couple weeks ago it found itself back in the stack, but this time I was trying to figure out who it was. Song #4 (featured as last week's MSoTW) immediately stuck out. The rest of the album I really liked but had no clue who it was. It sounded like that singer, and then it also sounded like that singer. When the CD was done I popped it out and was surprised that now, after the third listen, I really like it.

So there you go.....now it's up to you to try and figure out who this is. Make sure to give it a listen first though, don't just start asking for clues.

Okay, I'm pretty sure that half of the vocals are by Geddy Lee on this weeks mystery song, but I have no idea what album or band it's from.  However, how was his solo album?  I saw it while trying to figure this out.  I'm listening to the mystery album now.

Do I hear the King's X dude here?
His solo album isn't too bad, it was a good fill-in while waiting for a new Rush album back then.

I think I hear Paul Rogers...

on track 13, maybe a song called Wings Of History?

Yeah, absolutely Geddy Lee on track one!! I KNOW that voice on the second and fifth track!! It's ............arrrghh!!

Sorry Jon, but on track 4, it says Lou Gramm, so that MIGHT be him?!! Do I hear Glenn Hughes somewhere??? John Farnham??? It also says Dennis Deyoung on one of the tracks, sorry!! Absolutely Paul Rodgers?!!

Very good album, by the way!!

Isn't this FUN?
MSoTW week..  Im gonna take a wild ass guess and say Barenaked Ladies, because Rush has worked with them in the past on various projects and theyre Canadian...  ????
Seriously?
uh...  Yes?  Look I have no idea what they even sound like, I just know theyve worked with them on several projects, so its what came to mind...
Sorry, was just a bit shocked you would think I owned anything by Barenaked Ladies (the band,of course).
Just to butt in to this conversation, I wouldn't put owning Barenaked Ladies of any other band in the world passed you.  If a strange or very possible unknown album ever comes up, you are always the first person on here that I think may have it (and that is meant in the most complimentary way you could ever imagine).
But please....no Barenaked Ladies (the band, of course).
