Classic Rock Bottom

NEW (and classic) VIDEOCORNER#35 (GOTTHARD, SISTER SIN, U2 & PAUL MCCARTNEY)

Gotthard - Give me real

Just in time for the start of the Swiss tour and on the last part of their successful “Firebirth” world tour 2012, GOTTHARD heats things up with “Give Me Real” their new fan video!

Sister Sin - End Of The Line

Sweden has become a hot bed for some great glam metal over the last few years, and Sister Sin is one more addition to that list of awesome. Their latest album, Now And Forever, is another fabulous ride through some ripping glam metal.

U2 - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

From when U2 were a great band, and Bono had a great voice. Those days are looong gone.

Paul McCartney - Once Upon A Long Ago

IMO the best "Christmas-song" from Paul McCartney. Very good christmas-spirit in this video.

GOTTHARD--5 kandy kanes

Damn, this got me ummmmmmmmmmmmm, well, you know. Fantastic song. Nice chugging geetar. Nice solo. Good voice too. I'm really digging this. Too bad the guy in the vid has a drinking problem. Nice tumble down that slope though! I give it a 9, great form! And you're supposed to kick the tired BEFORE you buy. And that's all it takes to get back a hot woman? Hmm...

SISTER SIN--2 santa peeps

Glam metal?  This ain't glam metal. I hear some gothiness in there, not a lot but some. It's metal, but not glammy. I believe there was a video of Sister Sin a year or so ago, the woman looks familiar. Decent voice, decent band but not really catchy. The video gave me Plasmatic flashbacks, also looked like the singer was going with a Wendy O. Williams vibe. But with more hair. Maybe it's just me, but I found her smoking hot when she was holding the shotgun.

U2--1 fruitcake

Just not into this version of the song. It's well done but I've heard enough and don't really like it anymore. Video was nothing special. Bah Humbug.

Paul McCartney--4 barrels of egg nog

Umm.. I have never heard this song before? It's pretty good. I like this video, the animation was neat. I also liked where the band was playing, no way in hell you could get me up there. No way.

Thanks for viewing "my" videos, Jon. I knew, I could count on you.

Sorry Niels, I totally missed this.  I'll get to it later this weekend.  I like Gotthard so I'm looking forward to this one.  It's a shame they lost there lead singer to that terrible accident.

Gotthard (4 Jingle Bells)

This isn't bad song wise.  I don't think it's good enough for me to say I'll get the album (if a new one is coming out).  The vocalist is pretty good, but Steve Lee (I think that was his name) was really good and will be tough to replace.  The video is okay, but nothing outstanding.  The only other thing I have to say is....jump!

Sister Sin (3 Jingle Bells)

I'm not caring for the song at all.  But the video isn't bad.  It has a Terminator 2 feel with the chick working out in the cell or whatever it is.  She looks pretty good too.

U2 (2 Jingle Bells)

I've never really liked this Christmas song.  The only good thing about the song is that it's short.  And the only good thing about the video is that it's black and white.

Paul McCartney (6 Jingle Bells)

This is much better.  I agree Niels, a very nice Christmas song by McCartney.  If I'm not mistaken you have posted this before.  Typically, I don't like animated videos, but it's okay here.  Probably 'cause of the Christmas theme.  I never realized Tom Cruise played drums for McCartney.
