Don Felder--Thumbs Up

I was surprised. Surprised that you didn't like the new Outlaws because you thought it was too country even though this is kinda country in parts too.  Also noticed the Dire Straitsy geetar on one of the songs. Surprised because if someone says "Don Felder" I say, "WHAT THE HELL WAS HE DOING ON THE 'HEAVY METAL' SOUNDTRACK?" and then remember that his song wasn't bad at all on that soundtrack and that Donald Fagen was on it as well. Basically, I liked this, like how you went from mellow to rocky stuff. Interesting. Sure it wasn't planned.

Amberlin--Thumbs sideways

I dunno, it just sounds too new or something. The 4th song was the one that grabbed my attention, the others were meh. Hey, soft, hard again. Hmm....

DON FELDER - 1 out of 6 Classic Rocks

Yddrrkk! This I do NOT like at all. He sounds a bit like Bryan Adams, but much worse, and I don't even like Bryan Adams. I wouldn't know where to start or stop, so I don't. This must be one of the worst releases in 2012.

ANBERLIN - 2.5 out of 6 Classic Rocks

This is better, but it probably only sounds okay, because I've just heard Don Felder. The first track is probably the best, and the third track is probably the worst. It sounds like they are trying to get a pretty young audience. Not like Mr. Felder, he tries to get his audience among the old timers. It's not bad, as in "Don Felder", but it's not my style at all. What is their style, anyway? The last track reminds me sometimes of Big Country, and some of the other tracks I was thinking of Limp Bizkit or something like that.

Limp Bizkit?  Really?  That bad?  I can't fathom that reference.  But hey, at least you won't have any trouble with the "Worst Album Of The Year" category.

Actually, I HAD put it on the "top" spot in WAOTY, because right after I had listened to it, I went to fill out all the "Best of"-catagories, but then I thought "Nah, better put down some more well known albums" but it was a close call.

Maybe Limp Bizkit was too far out, but I meant one of those "Nu Metal"-bands from around the year 2000. I cant remember any other names.
