Classic Rock Bottom

Okay! I'll give it a shot, and try to knock Scott of the "first place":

Sometimes you can hear when musicians steal or borrow from each other. Do you have some examples? I'll start:

It has allways "annoyed" me a bit, that I think that Pete Townshend borrowed the guitar-intro to "Pinball Wizard" from this song, or did he? Was he first? I don't really know. They're both from 1969, but imo, they sound about the same.

Anyone else has some examples?

YES!!!! I'm at the top again!! I'll guess it's going to be close, Scott?!
Get a goods night rest and see what happens!!!?
Yeah, but you've got every chance of winning this, because when it's 7PM "over there", it's 2AM where I am, and by that time, I've been sleeping at least 2½ hours, BUT I'll give you some competition, because I'm going to start up VOTW today, instead of tomorrow he he.....
Umm...hello? You guys forget about me?
Hmmm, I'll guess, I've found the "answer" myself on google:

The famous guitar riff was sampled by The Shocking Blue on their 1969 hit "Venus," which was covered by Bananarama in 1986.
How about this one:

The riff sounds allmost the same to me. This time, I KNOW, that Peter Green was the first one, but did Malcom (or Angus?) borrow or steal?
Kurt Cobain admitted, that he stole Nirvana's most famous riff from "More than a feeling":

Ace stole the guitar solo from Robbie:

Then Cinder Road borrowed a line of the solo:

Yeah, I thought about Ace too, but you beat me to it.
The one to end it all...

Here's the one that always comes to mind:

Foghat--Honey Hush
Aerosmith--Train kept a rollin'

Forgive me, I don't know how to add the youtube files. Anyone feel free to add them if you'd like.

I added 'em for you Phil. I'm glad to do it, but let me know if you want me to show you how.
