Top 10 Album Covers (IMHO)

So this was an idea I've been stewing on for awhile.  So I'm gonna try it and see if we can get some discussion going realizing it may be into the first week or two of the new year before we get everyone back on here.

Its Top Ten Favorite Album Covers (IMO)...

The catch is this; they have to come from my personal collection and I will list them in no particular order, so its really my "favorite" Ten.  Also, I am not considering any other parts of the packaging, so no inner sleeve, liner notes, or folding flaps will be considered.  Its 100% pure front cover art

THE CARS - CANDYO

Very nice choices, and a great idea.  I guess I was of the mindset this had to be songs, but the album covers top 10 is brilliant.  I'm inspired to do a non-music related top 10. 

 

I love Destroyer, as you might guess.  I tried to draw this so many times, I couldn't begin to count them. 

 

The Van Halen cover as well, love it. 

 

I remember the Eagles album cover from one of my cousins, and that is so cool. 

 

All great choices, and I'll go home and see what I have remaining in my album collection and post a couple of my favorite.

 

That Poco cover is new to me through you, and to me, it's excellent as well.

Every time, since the first Iron Maiden album came out, I eagerly awaited how the album-cover would look like on a new Iron Maiden-release. This is one of my favorites:

Yeah, I remember seeing "Abominog" and thinking, that must be HEAVY METAL music!!! It turned out to be MUCH better, than I thought, after the first dissapointment over, it was'nt that heavy!!!

Most every Molly Hatchet album could be added I think. There's one where they're all pumped up whcih is kinda funny. Good choice with this one though.
