Top 10 Album Covers (IMHO)

So this was an idea I've been stewing on for awhile. So I'm gonna try it and see if we can get some discussion going realizing it may be into the first week or two of the new year before we get everyone back on here.

Its Top Ten Favorite Album Covers (IMO)...

The catch is this; they have to come from my personal collection and I will list them in no particular order, so its really my "favorite" Ten. Also, I am not considering any other parts of the packaging, so no inner sleeve, liner notes, or folding flaps will be considered. Its 100% pure front cover art

THE CARS - CANDYO

Pre Tawny Kittaen and Mtv, there was this. Every teenage boys dream. Great art too

THE EAGLES - ONE OF THESE NIGHTS

Just great art, very detailed and very cool, poster worthy even!

EARTH WIND & FIRE - ALL 'N ALL

Imagery and Fantasy wrapped up into one cover. EWF had a string of great covers like Journey did

JOURNEY - DEPARTURE

So how do you pick just one? I don't know but this is the coolest one IMO

KISS - DESTROYER

Maybe the #1 on my list, I wonder how many hours of life Ive lost staring at this one?

LEGS DIAMOND - LEGS DIAMOND

Just a cool image of the guitar/machine gun. You can really get a sense of whats inside.

POCO - LEGEND

Simple and elegant, yet threatening! The perfect brand for band.

RUSH - PERMANENT WAVES

Again, how do you pick just one? This is my favorite in their catalog.

VAN HALEN - VAN HALEN

First time I ever sat and studied each member of a band. These guys looked menacing and cool.

THE WHO - WHO'S NEXT

Four lads pissing on a wall and that make art? Yes, Yes it does!

Here's a new CD that I just got. 1970 Chevelle on the cover! YES!!! I picked this up on EBAY, though there were no USA sellers at the time.

Here is the original album, 1972 Buick Riviera on the cover. I just have this one from Itunes.

I wish I had a cool Chevelle or Mopar or something! :( My car WAS nice (on my profile), not it is looking a little more tired as I've had it a few years and use it for work.
