VAN HALEN PLAYLIST (FOR THE CASUAL FAN)

Since Van Halen seems to actually be releasing a new album with David Lee Roth for the first time in 28 years, lets make up a VH playlist.  Let’s make a playlist of 12 hidden gems.  What’s that?  Van Halen has no hidden gems?  While that may be true for you and I, there are plenty of casual fans on the planet who only know VH for Jump, Panama and Hot For Teacher. 

 

So let’s make a playlist of VH’s hidden gems for the casual fan.  So here are the rules:

 

1. Only DLR era material.
2. Two songs from each DLR era studio album.
3. No singles allowed.

 

That last rule means you cannot use any of the following songs:

So now you know what you can’t use, which songs would make up your 12 song playlist?  Also, be sure and put the songs in the order you think would be best for the playlist.
