Classic Rock Bottom

Continuing with this year's Summer Series, the 50th Anniversary of 1967 AND The Summer Of Love.

This time out I will go very FM.
I have spoken before about FM Turntable Hits- songs that got a lot of airplay on the Underground Stations but not much in the way of sales.
Well our first song is an FM Turntable Classic!
After that, one of the BEST bands of the 60's decade, Arthur Lee and his influential group Love.
And I will take a couple of shots at showing you just how influential this woefully under-appreciated and now almost forgotten band truly was.
Do whatever it was that you used to do while listening to those glory days of Free-Form FM Radio!
And enjoy I guess these Deep Cuts!

Yes, Love covered by others- you gave me one by a group...GTO, XTC or something like that I think!
Problem is, Love itself never got much airplay.
So I’d be doing inferior versions of songs mostly not heard.
Kinda blows that out of the water.
Big clue for those 2 songs...the beginnings huh!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and stay cool,
The Fonz LOL

That would be a nice show.

You know, Love songs covered by other groups. I'm sure there's quite a few.

Yep, there's something about those two songs that sound familiar. But, what could it be? WHAT COULD IT BE??????

Stay cool? Are you The Fonz now?
