Good review Jay.  I'm not at all familiar with the band, but I listened to the Amazon samples while reading the review.  It sounds fairly decent.  I don't plan to buy it, but I did enjoy sampling it.

I'm not familiar with the band much myself either. I knew they existed and that Ray Alder was their singer. But that was it.

I'm very glad that I decided to pick up this CD though.

Glad you liked the samples, even if you weren't moved to buy it.

I thought the vocals on the samples were pretty good, and that's usually a very big deal for me.
