Classic Rock Bottom

I don't know, if anyone of you know this scottish band, Del Amitri? I noticed them around 1995, when I heard "Here and now" on the radio, and eventually bought 4 albums. Their "easy blend of Beatlesque pop and country-rock" really appealed to me at that time, and now I'll try to pick out 10 of the best songs, so you can have a listen, if you want to. The bands most importent members are/were bassist/vocalist/songwriter Justin Currie and longtime guitarist Ian Harvie. I also got to see the band in concert around 1996 in Copenhagen.

Niels, I thought this started out really strong and then just kind of fell away for me.  In fact, Just Like A Man is a fantastic song.  But then it got a little hokey, maybe a little too country for me.  Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike all country music, and this is certainly not bad, just a little mellow.  Good post though, I've never heard of this band until today.
RJhog, I'm glad you liked at least some of it. I agree, that "Just like a man" is a great track, but also "Nothing ever happens" and especially "It might as well be you" are outstanding. Heck, they are all great, and why else would I post them in this "IMHO"!!
OK, I listened to this Thursday and liked it! I know the first song, got plenty of airplay way back when and really didn't like it then, it's ok now. But the rest os good, many different styles. Song #9 is my favorite.
Cool. Thanks for listening (at last).
Unlike...Scott? Still making you cry?

Not sure how to describe this, it wasnt bad though ...this is what comes to mind...

Almost, but not quite...
This is funny!! It's EXACTLY what I've allways thought, they sounded like. Especially the "can't find my dog"-music.
