Yet another edition of VOTW, with the well known 5 new video's and 2 classic, this time maybe some cheesefactor?? Here we go:

BRING ME THE HORIZON - BLESSED WITH A CURSE

This is a new single, out 2nd May, off the album with the long title: "There is a Hell, believe me, I've seen it. There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret".



PAUL SIMON - SO BEAUTIFULL OR SO WHAT

Paul Simon will soon release a new album, and this is the first single. Not exactly Heavy Metal, but there's also room for this kind of music in VOTW.




NEW YORK DOLLS - FOOL FOR YOU BABY


Newest video/single from the old band. There's only two original members left. The rest are dead, I believe.


GRAVEYARD - HISINGEN BLUES

I don't know much about this band. I saw an advertice for their new album in Classic Rock Magazine, and checked YouTube for a new video, and BINGO!



SISTER SIN - 24/7


This is the second video with this sweedish band in VOTW. Last summer, I posted a video, that some of you liked. Now what about this one?



QUIET RIOT - BANG YOUR HEAD

I was never a fan of this band. Kevin Dubrow was never my cup of tea. There could be some point for cheeseness in this video?? From the album "Metal Health", the only Quiet Riot-album, I ever bought. From, what, 1985?



MARC BOLAN (AND T-REX?) - I LOVE TO BOGGIE

Not exactly a promo, more from a show, but nevertheless here's Marc Bolan with a nice little tune, I've allways liked.

The video started of GREAT and then he began to sing. This ain't CM vocals, it's just crappy. The video is really interesting, the parts where he doesn't sing are really good. Maybe the should rename the album "There is crappy music, believe me, this is it".

Man, does this song stick in your head or what? And any video with square dancing is A+ in my book!

Cool video, average song.  Glad he doing some new stuff though.  This track is pretty monotone if you ask me.  The video on the other hand is interesting to watch

David Johanssen is the ugliest dude in rock and roll, hands down.  But in this case he gets something right, this song is truly diddy-dum dum.

Nice little ditty, video was ok. The little person kind of looked like David. Now, is he the ugliest person in rock? I don't think so...

I really dont know what to say about this.  Really, all I can think about is that Hippie episode of South Park.  If I were to place myself at a music festival then I could see this as groovy and outta sight man!  But alas, Im not at a festival, and this really isnt that interesting.  0 points

My video has an ad to see Sister Sin interviewed by Wrestling legend Mick Foley.  I wonder if he'd do us all a favor and put this band in a sleeper hold!?

Marc Bolan (0 points)

I don't care for it.  It's somewhat cheesy, with the leopard skin jumper and the 4 chicks, but the song is just not very good.  And the video makes me think of Solid Gold or something like that.

 

Quiet Riot (2 points)

I'm not a QR fan, but this is probably their best song.  The video is kinda cheesy, probably about a 4, but I still like it.  I love that mask.  Carvazo is probably the cheesiest person in the video, which is saying a lot for a video that has Kevin Dubrow in it.

 

Sister Sin (- 2 Points)

This song blows.  It reminds me of a really bad hair metal song.  If I had to listen to it 24/7, I'd be in one of those padded cells that Dubrow started out in.  The girl fight at the beginning had potential, but alas, the video sucked as well.
