As a guest-host here on AOTW this week, I'm going to post 2 albums, and I will begin with "Anthems Of A Degeneration" by Million Dollar Reload(The second one, will probably be posted on friday). I became aware of this band/album last spring, when the song "Superslave" appeared on a "Classic Rock Magazine"-cd, and I liked it so much, that it ended on a 5th place (I think?) on my personal Top 10 of songs from 2010. But the album is not really from 2010. It was released in oct. 2008, but then it was remixed, remastered and re-released in 2010, and it's the remastered version I've got.I can't find much about this band on the internet, but you only have to listen to the first couple of songs, to hear that they are VERY influenced by AC/DC and Guns'N'Roses, and it sounds to me like, they could had made it big, back in 1988. They were formed in 2006, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Classic Rock Magazine said: "Vast hooks, killer riffs and moments of joyous abandon. The best debut since Appetite for Destruction".
