Classic Rock Bottom

From melodicrock.com:

Queensyche (www.queensrycheofficial.com) continue to develop plans with new singer Todd LaTorre. And now it sees ousted vocalist Geoff Tate has decided against a solo career, rather choosing to form a new band he will name Queensryche. Catchy! He posted this to Facebook over the weekend: "Today is a new day and I am thrilled to announce the new Queensrÿche. Joining me are: Rudy Sarzo, Bobby Blotzer, Glen Drover, Kelly Gray and Randy Gane. Together we shall embark on a new musical journey that will be a greater extension of where Queensrÿche has ever been." - Geoff Tate.

He's put together a nice band. But this just isn't going anywhere good for either band

The problem is that Kelly Gray sucks as a guitar player. He was in Queensryche once already and was an absolute disaster.

Bobby Blotzer and Rudy Sarzo have so many irons in the fire, that someone in the know that I talked to said they won't be in the band long.

And if Tate has decided against a solo career, that is going to shoot the hell out of the upcoming solo album he has coming out in October.

I was thinking about that solo album as well. He was on TMS a couple weeks ago and he promised that the album would rock. I believe he said it would be released in October but I can't find it listed.

Yes he said October, but didn't give an actual date. It's coming out via InsideOut Music.

A true clusterf$@#!

If you read all the press releases, lawsuits and counterlawsuits, it is beyond a cluster....
