HAS ANYONE NOTICED?

Has anyone (anyone other than Jon, for he posted it in his new release thread) that we have new releases from The Doobie Brothers, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and Ronnie Wood on Sept. 28th?

 

 

Which leads me to my other question, does anybody think any of these or the new Black Country Communion disc, which is due Sept. 21 in the U.S., will be available at Best Buy?

Yes. Not much in the way of back catalog, but they still do get the new releases.

True enough. But since I work across the street from a Best Buy, it works for me so that I don't have to constantly buy my new CDS from eBay sellers and wait days to get it.

Like I just did with the new Accept CD.

Just go to bestbuy.com and see if it's available for store pickup. Y&T's new one was not available in stores around here (and I've got 3 fairly close) so had to order it online.

I did check the website. It wasn't available at any of the 5 or 6 stores in my general vicinity.

Back to the dwindling music at BB, used to spend hours there on some weekends just going through stuff. Now the aisles are narrow, the shelves (or whatever the're called) with the CD's are hard to go through and, around here at least, the pickings are minimal. I'll stick with online, especially with Amazon since they do seem to meet BB's price and can get free shipping with $25 spent. I only go to BB now for Blu-Rays, when they're on sale.
