Classic Rock Bottom

What TV are you enjoying lately?

For me:

Monday nights I watch House and Chicago Code then Castle. I absolutely love Castle. House is slipping and Chicago Code is a way to kill an hour. On On Demand I watch Harry's Law which has been surprisingly entertaining. I also watch Chuck (good unless it is a scene with the Buy More people) and Hawaii Five-O which has been decent. Oh, and I watch How I Met Your Mother online.

Tuesdays I watch NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles with my mom and love both shows. I also watch The Good Wife which has been superb. I also watch the new show Body of Proof which has been okay to start. And I watch White Collar which I love.

Wednesdays I watched Human Target but that is over now and likely will be cancelled. I just got back into watching Law & Order SVU as well.

Thursdays I watch Bones and The Mentalist with my mom. I also watch Royal Pains and Fairly Legal.

Fridays, I was watching Medium until it ended as well as The Defenders. And I love Blue Bloods too. Also started watching Camelot on Starz.

Saturdays I was watching the new season of Primeval but that's over now. I also watch Doctor Who when it is in season.

Sundays I've been watching Breakout Kings and just started watching The Killing. I also watched The Walking Dead.

Other shows I watch but can't remember which night they air are Covert Affairs and Luther. Plus Hot in Cleveland and Retired at 35.

So yes, I have no life...LOL

Sigh....Goodbye, Dexter!

Not a show I watch, but wow did a lot of people I know HATE the finale.

I've never watched it either, but most finales are let downs.  My favorite all time show is Seinfeld, but the finale was not good.  The best one I remember seeing is Six Feet Under.  Unfortunately, I only started watching that show about six weeks before the finale.  I didn't know it was ending.  My wife got me started watching it and poof, it was over.

Yeah, there are a lot that hated the finale but I didn't have an issue with it. There was closure, in a way, and if people take time to think about it, it'll make sense considering who he was. Won't give anything away, but something does happen that is very sad, something I really didn't expect.

As for finales that let me down, hands down it's "Lost". All that for.....nothing?

I gave up on Lost after the first six episodes of Season 3.

I was not particularly impressed with the season opener for The Walking Dead last night.

I was not particularly impressed with the season opener for The Walking Dead last night.  The helicopter thing was silly.

I thought it was a great season opener. It got you started by getting you up to speed on what's gone on over the 6-7 month period of time between the season finale and last night's opener.

It showed the changes in the structure of the community, introduced new characters, let you see new traits other characters have acquired (Beth in particular).

It had some action and introduced a new plot point to consider with the very end.

So, another season of "The Walking Dead" is done. A majority reached Terminus which seems to be a society of cannibals. Don't know, never read the graphic novels (I didn't call them comics!)

But, there was one thing I noticed that kinda bugged me. Why were only Rick, Darryl & Carl patted down for extra weapons and not Michonne? Were they feeling how much meat was on them bones and the women are being used for something else?

Maybe it means nothing. I just wanna know, dammit!

Rick's bite out of the dude's neck was cool.  Good thing he buried those weapons.

We don't actually know if these people are cannibals yet.

Beth is still among the missing which led to a lot of people talking on other boards saying the survivors would find out they were eating "Beth Burgers".

I loved the last line from Rick...about time some total badass returned to him.

By the way, there was a cannibal story arc in the comics but from what I've been able to gather thus far, there isn't a direct connection with these new characters...yet.

What about the skeletons in the cage?
