This...................is..........................awful.

Cool! Now I don't have to listen!

I listened to the first 3 tracks, then skipped to the Coverdale track.  Terrible.  The Coverdale track was way better than the first 3.

Could be wrong, but I think there's auto tune going on during "Breathing". Kinda noticed it when I first heard it, but it's more prevalent now.

There's nothing new here. The geetaring is allright but some of the solos sound really out of place and the singer sounds like a young Coverdale and these sound like old Whitesnake songs, except for "Nothing Touches" which sounds like AC/DC. One of the songs also had a chorus that sounded like it was from the tv show "Good Times".

"Steal Away"& "Leave This Town" are pretty good.

The song with Coverdale has parts that sound like a certain Vandenberg song!

Except for that breathing song, this is really not horrible.

Yes, Scott. There's cowbell!

Having a commercial in between each track makes the listening experience extremely annoying...  I wonder is this is a sign of things to come because if it is, I'm done buying and will be content with what I have now...

Lust and Lies:  eh...  I didn't care for it

Close To You:  Crap not a Carpenters cover!.  Sounds promising but under developed

Good Thing:  Much better...

Breathing:  I like this, no apologies...

Steal Away: uh... the riff's are starting to blend together

Line of Fire:  Not too bad...

Out of Reach: eh...

Feel It:  Melodic, catchy, I like this one.

Leave This Town:  More melodic goodness, at least the voice fits the song on this one

One Step Behind:  such promise at the start, voice is a misfit on this one, big time.

Leeches: no

Nothing Touches: Some early ACDC influence for sure, not bad

Sailing Ships:  Now theres some early Vandenberg acoustic!  This singer sucks, he's so off on this that I'm thinking Jon may have something with this Auto Tune thing...

You know I love the first 2 Vandenberg releases and I so wanted this to be more of that, its simply not.  He needs a better vocalist and more time to mature his songs, this sounds rushed and way under developed.  I'm going to take a flyer on this...

The singer on Sailing Ships is David Coverdale.

I heard "Lust and Lies" via a CD sampler from AOR Magazine.

I thought it was okay but not really all that great. That it was one of the better tracks on the sampler is more an indictment of the majority of the rest of the CD than that the song is GREAT.
