I didn't just laugh. But, DAMN! What the hell is going on with you! Snow, ice, trees, no updates phone #'s, no cable, no internet, no phone.......it's like you're having a mini-apocalypse!

HERE is the Hughes/Thrall post.

So let me get this straight...

  • Your parents and sister change their phone numbers and you have to track them down, once you find them...
  • ... your phone lines are mysteriously "broke"

I'm glad I could provide almost 25% of your listening experience.

Seriously, have you seen the Alan Parsons Project Box Set?  Not that you would buy it, 'cause I'm sure you have all or most of them, but what do you think of it?  I see it has one album that was never released.  I only have one or two releases by APP.  Don't think I'm gonna fork over 77 bucks, but what do you think?

11 albums for $77 isn't too bad. However, if you already have all of them I just don't see spending more money just to get the one album. Hopefully the release that one by itself.

But, since it seems like a majority of the recent remasters are OOP, it is a wise investment. Don't know if the box set has the bonus tracks on the recent remasters. Nothing too earth-shatering if they're not, it's just something nice to have.

If you want more APP though and don't want to shell out the $77, there is a Original Album Classics set with 5 APP albums and they are the remasters with the bonus tracks.

So, in a nutshell: If you have little to no APP, yes to the boxset. If you have them all and REALLY REALLY want that extra album, then yes. If you're a completist, yes. If you want to wait and see if that one album has a standalone release, then no. If you're Scott, then probably yes.
