These are the stations in my area. I have been listen to KBER the most in the past. But I think I am going to start listening to The Aarow and Rock 99.1 more. My favorite station from High School is no more, I can't remember the name of it at the moment. But all of these stations I listed above are online.

So, what are the radio stations in your area? Which ones are your favorites?

When I first discovered streaming radio when I got the Internet, KBER was one of the first stations I heard. I loved the mix of songs they had. I didn't even know they were still around.

I listen to 94 WHJY in Providence, RI http://www.whjy.com for regular stations.

And online I listen to KNAC.com http://www.knac.com

I think KNAC is an old staple station (I see the shirts in lots of CDs).

KBER is still around, and has been for a long time. I am kind of tired of their talk show that starts at 2 and some of the newer songs they play early in the day.

But looking at the recent playlist, it looks like they've played some good songs later in the day! :) Maybe I will try listening again after work (we'll see!!!) :)

KNAC is a hard rock and heavy metal online station.

I MISS THE RACK!!!!

I mostly listen to XM.

Radio?  People still listen to that?  I plug in my MP3 player and have totally forgotten about the radio ...

However, I did listen to John Boy and Billy (The Big 'ol hairy Fox) in Charlotte when I first got here, then they just got to be too repetetive and boring, and I switched over to the Bob and Tom show on 106.5 The Fan until they killed them in favor of some local stuff that was pretty bad...

I'm kinda' low tech right now. Going through a life transition & having to start over. So, my listening resources are limited at the moment, but when I'm in my car I usually listen to BOB FM. It's dubbed as "Random Radio" & "We Play Anything" is their slogan. Their playlist renders a lot of older classic rock, that just isn't being played on your traditional Classic Rock stations anymore. So, you get your classic rock, mixed with a little current to help keep you in tune with what's up.

Yeah, I listen to that at work on the overhead speakers.  It's funny when they play You Outta Know by Alanis Morrissette and the don't bleep enough of the word F%#K.  But they do play a pretty decent mix.  Yesterday I heard When Doves Cry followed by Panama.

WJON! Plays what I wanna hear when I wanna hear it. Greatest radio station ever!
