I'm a bit dissapointed in this album. It's not bad at all, but something is missing. I know, Åkerfeldt can play a great guitar-solo, so why not put on some more? It's definitely Prog, and it's good Prog, but...I don't know, something's missing. It tends to be boring at times. On "Heritage", the best tracks were the Bonus-tracks. I guess, that's what's missing here. But it IS good. Just not good enough.

Now, this is much, much better.  This is a very nice prog album, start to finish.  The first song on the album, which isn't included here, is incredible.  But it's all very good.  Best prog album so far this year if you ask me.  I got a Pink Floyd vibe and even an Alan Parsons Project vibe a couple of times.  Thumbs way up for this one.

I've had this since before Jon so Ive been enjoying it much much longer!  I actually understand the Jethro Tull comment Niels made but I like this much better.  Its much more melodic though and had Jon posted the odd numbered tracks you may have come to a different conclusion.  And don't forget the mix that Steven Wilson did, stellar sound!

OVERKILL ... Two Thumbs plugging my ears

Wow this is awesome...ly awful!  How do you tell their albums apart?  Seems like they all sound the same.  I tried to listen, I really did, but I cant make it through, this style is so far out of my comfort zone...
