I picked up two new books today.

Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich and The Fifth Witness by Michael Connelly.

Just finished reading the Star Trek: Enterprise novel [u][i]The Romulan War Book 2 - To Brave The Storm[/u][/i] by Michael A. Martin.

It seems to essentially finish off the ST:E story from the TV show and the four previous after series books. Good read and a far better ending than the one that was in the last episode of the series.

Finished "Horns" by Joe Hill, his papa is someone famous....

And now it's "How To Archer: The Ultimate Guide To Espionage And Style And Women And Also Cocktails Ever Written".

Finished reading the Robert B. Parker novel "Sixkill". It's the last Spenser novel that is fully written by Parker who has passed away. They are continuing the series as Robert B. Parker's (fill in title) with another author, but I'm not sure I will continue with the books.

One of his other series has already had a book come out with this new format and it got bad reviews.

Hate when they have someone else take over a series. They did that with Bond, so far they've had at least 3 different authors that wrote Bond books and they're just not the same.

I started reading the Sammy Hagar book, put it down. But I started reading it again. I can only read one or two chapters a night, but I should finish it this month.

Then I want to buy a Kiss and Space Ace book, and also read The Gospel according to the Simpsons (even though I have not watched that show in ages).

Finished reading the Iris Johansen thriller novel Eve the other day.

The character of Eve Duncan has been a continuing character in many of Johansen's books but this book was the first in a trilogy of books that presumably is going to bring closure to the long running plot of finding the body of Eve Duncan's daughter who was abducted many years before the character's first appearance in the books.

The second book Quinn and the third book Bonnie are already out in paperback.

I picked up two new Robert K. Tanenbaum books today: Betrayed and Outraged.

I also got the novelization of the movie Battleship. Not particularly interested in the movie but the novelization was written by Peter David, one of my favorite writers.
