So what are you listening to right now? Any genre is cool.
For me:
Scott's Hidden Treasure
Depeche Mode - Wrong (courtesy of Niels)
Kim Mitchell - Akimbo Alogo (courtesy of Jon)
Next week's Album of the Week (hint: think orchestra)
Shinedown - The Sound of Madness
Tags:
Sammy Hagar - Danger Zone.
Rival Sons--Pressure & Time
Jeff Beck--You Had It Coming
Helloween--Pink Bubbles Go Ape
Bruce Dickinson--Tattooed Millionaire
Wishbone Ash--No Smoke Without Fire
Edenbridge--The Grand Design
Rush--Clockwork Angels
I had a big listening weekend:
Mahavishnu Orchestra--Inner Mounting Flame
King Crimson--Discipline
Jimi Hendrix Experience--Are You Experienced?
The Daktaris--Soul Explosion
Black Keys--Brothers
Bob Marley--Legend
Andrew Bird--Andrew Bird and the Mysterious Production of Eggs
Chris Mars--75% Less Fat
The Flaming Lips--At War With the Mystics
I think it's a "poor man's" Abbey Road. They ape a LOT of the second side of Abbey Road on At War With the Mystics.
Joe Walsh--Analog Man
The Call--The Best Of The Call
Ozzy Osbourne--Ozzmosis
The Gathering--The West Pole
Rick Derringer--All American Boy
Ted Nugent--Weekend Warriors
Styx--Regeneration: Volume I & II
What do you think of those two from Styx?
They're really not that bad for re-recordings plus the "new" song is pretty good. If you like "Cyclorama" you'll probably like this. It's definitely more hit than miss. Weird they did two Damn Yankee songs, but it's their album so I guess they can do what they want.
The only reason I picked it up was because it was part of amazon's 2-for-3 deal going on right now, but I'm not disappointed.
I also think it's an album that Scott would totally 100% enjoy since he so loves the new Styx.
I should pick 'em up, do a giveaway, then make sure Scott is the winner, even if he doesn't play.
