Thought you couldn't get into Supertramp, what gives?
Here's the thing. I've always liked a few of the hits, specifically Goodbye Stranger and Take The Long Way Home. You guys are always singing their praises. And although I couldn't necessarily get it when Jon posted 'em in LFAOTW or when you've featured them, I think they deserve a more proper listen than through crappy earbuds while I'm working.
Add to that, somebody dumped their collection of remasters and I picked 4 discs that I have at least heard of. There were actually at least 3 or 4 more that I put back after some serious thought.
Good to see you pick up several Triumph albums, one of my favorite bands.
ELO--Classic Albums Collection (11 ELO albums from their first to Balance Of Power, all remastered with extra tracks. Total price: $37.37)
The Sword - Apocryphon (2012)
Henry Rollins - Provoked
Queensryche - Empire (can't find my copy, repurchased)
Loverboy - Get Lucky RM (needed the remaster with bonus tracks)
I had a $5.00 gift certificate from Best Buy. Since it is unlikely that I'll ever have another one of those, I went to the store today and picked up a copy of the Iron Maiden compilation "From Fear To Eternity - The Best of 1990-2010". It cost me a grand total of $5.30
I picked up the Black Country Communion CD Afterglow today.
Time to get you all caught up.. Purchases haven't been as fast an furious as in the past but I'm getting quality!
Gregg Allman - Laid Back
Anberlin - Vital
Don Felder - Road to Forever
Black Country Communion - Afterglow
Atlanta Rhythm Section - Underdog/The Boys from Doraville (BGO Dual release)
Colin Masson - Isle of Eight
Last CD I bought (actually my wife got it for me) was Van Halen's latest.
That's the album of the year if you ask me.
Norma Jean Fox
