Before reading further, ask yourself this simple question:
AM I UP TO IT?
If your answer is "yes", continue reading. If your answer is "no", continue reading anyway. You might change your mind.
It's quite simple, really.
For the inaugural version we have picked five categories and what you need to do is listen to the amount of albums listed in each category during the month of November. For those that complete this quest you'll be given the opportunity to pick a category for an upcoming challenge.
For those that originally answered "no", let's try that question again:
AM I UP TO IT?
Now I'm thinking that your answer is "yes". Maybe it's even "YES!"
For the first month, we're going to keep it simple:
NOVEMBER CHALLENGE*:
1) 4 albums released in the 1960's
2) 4 albums released in the 1970's
3) 4 albums released in the 1980's
4) 4 albums released in the 1990's
5) 4 albums released in the 2000's (2000-2009)
It doesn't make a difference what type of music you want to listen to. You want to listen to rap? Go ahead, we don't care!
You can keep everyone updated with the albums/decades you've listened to by posting them below. And yes, if you do complete the challenge, you can choose Zamfir** as one of your categories in an upcoming challenge. I mean, who DOESN'T want to listen to the master of the pan flute***?
Remember, this challenge starts in November****.
So...........
ARE YOU UP TO IT?
*Yes, Scott. You have to listen to 20 albums.
**Scott has all the Zamfir albums, so beware.
***Me
****No, Scott. You can't start early

Well, you can't count Chilliwack since you haven't listened to it yet. What if the CD doesn't play? What if it somehow gets forcibly ejected from the player, smashes thru the back window, skids along the pavement until it gets run over by a passing steamroller?
How did you like Sticky Fingers? I believe I said you needed to listen to it awhile back. KNowing that you're not a Stones fan, I still thought then (and now) that you would like it kinda maybe.
