From 2001, we have ELO's last(?) album, title "Zoom". Since it's only 10 years old, maybe it's really not a lost album, maybe it's not forgotten. But then again, I don't believe a lot of folks bought it so maybe it is.
Funny thing is, is this really an ELO album? Or, is it a Jeff Lynne solo album? Hard to say. But since he owns the ELO name I guess he can call it what he likes, so ELO it is.
Coming 15 years after the last "true" ELO album, upon first listen for me it didn't sound like an ELO album. Now, I must admit I'm not a huge ELO fan, but have six of their albums. Nothing after "Discovery" now but I did own "Time" and "Secret Messages" on vinyl when they first came out. I mean I can listen to the five albums I currently have plus this one and not get sickened so maybe I do like them a little.
ANYWAY....back to "Zoom". It's probably my favorite ELO album. Don't know why that is exactly, but to me it's the strongest ELO from start to end, not a dud track at all. I listened to it while driving around earlier today and now it DOES sound like an ELO album, so I guess it really is an ELO album.
Jeff Lynne pretty much plays every instrument with a few guests, most notably Ringo Starr and George Harrison who show up on a couple tracks. It sounds like old ELO but an updated old ELO, if that makes any sense at all.
Zoom

11. Melting In The Sun
12. All She Wanted

Availability: OOP which really surprised me. Seriously? This album is only 10 years old and it's OOP? Starting around $20 you can own it. I guess it really IS a lost album then.
MSoTW: Scott was right last week, think this week's song is from an album where I already pulled a MS awhile ago. Maybe not. Maybe I just think I did.

I re-listened but I just can't figure it out. More hints...
