Classic Rock Bottom

As expected, someone swooped in and posted the new Black Country Communion album in the latest NMC so what I posted as last week's Lost/Forgotten album now seems like a stroke of pre-planned genius or it's just great teamwork.

"Teamwork". That word kind of bugs me. See, I'm a loner. A rebel. So when it the word "teamwork" is brought up at work, I throw up a little in my mouth since I like to work solo. Sad thing is, I hafta lie during any job interviews and tell them that I can work both in a team and by myself. I don't think I can really tell them that I prefer to work alone 'cause I'm better than those around me.

But don't get me wrong. Everyone here is the bees knees. I would go to war with these guys (pushing Rjhog to the front because, well, I just can.). This here is a team effort. This here is all a result of (shudder) "teamwork".

And I just threw up again.

My, my, my...aren't I being just a tad pompous?

This week's album is from 2004, a solo effort from Glenn Hughes. As most of you can tell by the title (hint Rjhog!), the album revolves around a certain type of music.

Listening to it, I wouldn't be surprised if you hear a little bit of Prince and, believe it or not, Sade. That's right...Sade!

But there's plenty of geetar and there's also WHOCKA WHOCKA GEETAR! Yes! Not a lot, just a smidge, but a smidge of whocka whocka geetar is just like winning the lottery. How, I don't know. But it is.

Just curious..would you rather have a nuclear kitchen or nuclear furniture?

Nuclear Kitchen or Nuclear Furniture...  hmmm .... Is that the same as asking if I prefer Hughes or the Mickey Thomas led Jefferson Starship?  If its the latter, I will take Hughes!
