The video is totally SMASH!!!! AWESOME video!! The song---hmmmm..it IS a bit on the boring side, but Steven Wilson usually is, but this one is a tiny bit better than his latest, perhaps.....a tiny smash, then.

Well, I'm depressed now. But I liked the song so I'm going SMASH. And the video just added to my depression. Very depressed now. Sigh.

I don't think the song is sob bad or boring.  It would certainly fit a particular mood.  It's a good song to listen to with good head phones, the lights off, and a beer.  As far as the video goes, I've never been a big fan of animated videos, but this one is pretty good.  It's kinda like a graphic novel or comic book with a soundtrack.  Maybe I'll rethink my attitude on that subject.  

Anyway, I'll say stash for now.

The newest issue of Classic Rock Presents...Prog has another track (I think it's the opening track) off of this new album.  It totally rocks.  It's about 11 minutes long and not boring at all.  I'm planning on picking this album up next week.

After watching/listening to this, all I can say is "wow"!! Definitely a sad video and song. Strong vocal performance, though. Really good singer. Nice melody to the tune. But don't know if I could handle a whole album like this. Is there any uptempo, "non-sad" songs?

Gordon, try this.  No one has listened yet, but it's a very cool song from the same upcoming album.  It's called Luminol and I posted a smash or trash a couple of days ago.

Definitely hear the prog in this track. I really like the guys vocals, but I dont think I could sit through a whole album of this. Thanks for sharing though...interesting for sure.
