JOURNEY - LOOK INTO THE FUTURE (1976)

Journey's second album, Look Into The Future, was a slight attempt to move away from the total prog sound of the first album.  But if you ask me, it didn't really work too well.  I think the first album is a fair amount better than this one.  Actually, this one is quite unremarkable.  I like Gregg Rolie's vocals when he duet's with Steve Perry, but I'm not a fan of them here at all.  The one thing I will say is that the song I'm Gonna Leave You sounds a lot like Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas.  I'm not at all saying that Kansas ripped Journey off, because Carry On Wayward Son is a much better song.  But if you've never heard it, check out the video below and tell me what you think.
