Classic Rock Bottom

Journey released Raised On Radio in 1986.  This album ended a streak of seven albums that had one word titles.  Two albums later, the band would begin the one word title thing again.  Does that mean anything?  I doubt it, but I liked the one word titles.  According to Wikipedia, the original title for the album was Freedom, but Steve Perry changed it to Raised On Radio.  This album is good, though it does start to wear out the ballad thing.  It really takes it a bit too far.  Six of the eleven tracks are effectively ballads.  They are good ballads, but they are ballads.  Sales were down from 6 million to 2 million.  The album made it to number 4 and had several Top 40 singles, but Ross Valory and Steve Smith were out and the end was very near.   Believe it or not, even with all of the ballads, I do like the album.  Suzanne is one of my favorite Journey tracks, as well as is Girl Can't Help It.  What do you think of Raised On Radio?
