Classic Rock Bottom

Ten years after the release of Raised On Radio, Journey released Trial By Fire.  It was Steve Perry's last album with the band.  The album was the band's lowest selling release since Infinity, the very first album that featured Steve Perry.  It also hit the number three spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.  All that being said, I don't really care for it.  It is easily the weakest Perry fronted album as far as I'm concerned.  I think the big problem here is all of the slow songs.  Slow song after slow song.  And it just goes on and on.  There are sixteen tracks on the album (way too many) and it seems like the album goes on forever.  But that's just my opinion.  What is your opinion?
