JUDAS PRIEST - RAM IT DOWN (1988)

If you've been following along on this Judas Priest adventure, you'll know we've arrived in 1988 with the release of Ram It Down.  If you haven't been following along, that's still where we are.  Before Priest released Turbo, they were working on a double album.  But the record company said no thanks, so it got split into two albums, Turbo and Ram It Down.  Ram It Down was supposedly the more heavy album, with Turbo being more in the glam metal or melodic realm.  I'd say it was pretty accurate.  Only problem is, Ram It Down is not a particularly good record.  It's not the worst ever, for sure, but I don't care much for it.  By the way, it did manage a Gold certification and a Top 40 showing (#31) in the U.S.  I could easily not pick a single song from this album to go on the ultimate playlist, but my rule says I must choose one, therefore I'll do just that.  Oh yeah, one more thing, this was the final album to feature Dave Holland on drums.
