Unleashed In The East, Judas Priest's first live album, was released in 1979. It continued a trend of successive albums climbing higher on the U.S. chart than it's predecessor. At number 30, it was Priest's highest charting album to date. It became one of five Priest albums to be certified Platinum by the RIAA. I'm not the biggest fan of live albums, but this one sounds terrific. Of course, that could be because it was heavily doctored, but who knows. All I know is it sounds great to me. Also, the original album only had nine tracks, while the 2001 CD reissue, which is what I have, contains four bonus tracks. And yes, those four tracks sound just as good as the original album.
