RJ,
No, no...Garth tried to bring something different to the song.
But the Fleetwoods are far superior!
Here's Garth's version: http://grooveshark.com/s/Mr+Blue/4Pgukf?src=5
Maybe it's just me, but I wish you would play newer stuff occasionally. Maybe mix some new stuff with old stuff? Again, that's just me. Wishing.
I'm from the East Coat but have never heard that song. Until now!
That Mr Softee song was funny. Would have been funnier if a woman sang it, and then it would have begged the question "WHY??!!" Just me again?
Mr Blue.....I've heard this song before but it was by someone else. NOT Garth Brooks. Definitely 100% absolutely NOT him. Never heard a GB song and, hopefully, never will. Hell, I was going along good with my life by not ever hearing that "Call Me Maybe" song until last week when the woman couldn't understand why I was freaking out when the song came on the radio in the car. What an awful song and I only caught maybe 30 seconds of it. Why did people buy it or even listen to it? Holy *&$^%#%&*&@*(($#**$&^%#@%#* it was so suckily bad I had to drive icepicks into my ears just to get any of the songs residual crap from my ears.
Never met a woman named Penelope. Would like to. Just a goal in my life. Kinda sexist to call her a chick though. It was the 50's. They weren't PC. I just hafta accept that.
Wonder if people would feel different about Cupid if he toted around a machine gun. An arrow can do damage to the heart, don't know why people want THAT, maybe they need a wakeup call. A winged cherub with a machine gun would change their thinking quite quickly I would think. But then again, they wanted Cupid to shoot her, so maybe they just don't care.
Ear infection? ICEPICK!
Oldies, mehhh. I like 'em sprinkled in more than I do a full plate of 'em.
That being said, I do have a Golden Pell for you. It's Mr. Blue from The Fleetwoods. I like that one. Truth be told, I've heard it before by another artist. I do believe it was Garth Brooks. Oh well, either way it's a cool song.
Ok then, PROFESSOR Pell, LOL!
NOT WHAT?
I will NOT!
