I am back with and winding down the Lighter Side of It’s Only Death, beginning with a guy who was both a Satirist and Mathematician, and appeared frequently on PBS.
A friend of mine, Clay Eals, wrote a book about Steve Goodman and had a few Song suggestions- I hadn’t thought of Steve so I went with one of them.
After that, a couple that may tickle your Memory Synapses- Motherlode and Emmitt Rhodes anyone?
Then a Half Serious/Half Fun Set to close this opening half.

Jon,
In real time you sometimes have to make decisions on the fly, lol!
I realized I didn't have enough time to play that whole song.
Looking around I didn't have another shorter one to play.
So the decision was to not have silence, not fade it out completely, but rather to play as much as I could and talk over it to identify what came before, then return to it.
I don't like to do it but sometimes I don't have much choice.
The travails of radio, lol!
