Classic Rock Bottom

This is the beginning of a Series I did in 2010, with a new introduction giving you some background as to how and why the idea came to me.
Some things you do you are proud of, and I never felt this Series got the respect it deserved.
Of course, that's just my opinion, you may feel differently.
But listening to all the Chapters after 4 years, even I was surprised at the things I played!
In short, it occurred to me during a particularly anxiety filled time in my life, that the month of August is notorious for being the time of year that Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists go on vacation, leaving their patients...oops...clients...fearful, anxious and on their own.
So I will fill the void, giving you 56 to 58 minute sessions instead of the 45 to 50 minute ones they do.
The Doctor is IN!

Here are the links to listen, but look inward, do you really want to, lol, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

Told you I'd get to it eventually.  Should get all four parts in today.  Not much commenting as I've already heard the show, so no GP's.

I do remember those first two songs for sure.

Yep!

And that's wrong?

I don't know, it just seemed offensive as a way of getting attention.

Like getting a cheap laugh, not much substance.

No, they're just cute songs.

However, she's one half of Garfunkel & Oates and they're far from being anything you would hear on a kids show. Click HERE to see what I'm talking about. If you're easily offended, just read the title of the song and decide then if you want to listen.

Yes you, Smartass of This Century and the Last!

How did you ever hear this Kate, she sounds like something from a morning kids' show?

Melanie and Nancy have nothing to worry about, lol!

Me? A smartass?

Anyway, here's a song from Kate Micucci:

Jon,
See, now right off the bat you have to be a smartass, LOL!
Predictable!
I watched High Anxiety the other night on TCM, love the shower scene.
That was a Bill Murray movie Jon, as if you didn't know, and for years I have wanted to do some shows having nothing really to do with the flick, but stealing the name!
Sure, just like me beat something to death, "Predictably, you played Melanie." Hahahahaha!!!
I can't answer whether you heard his show before.
I know we weren't the friends we are now back in 2010- maybe you did and didn't comment.
Oh you could keep a team of analysts rolling in the money for years, books would be written about you, lol!
Ashamed to say I don't know Kate Micucci, can't know 'em all.
And naturally you had to say this, "I don't like "theme" shows."
Good grief!!!
Glad you didn't write to me 4 years ago, I would have gone over the edge!
Thanks for the listen, writing and pinpricks, lol,
Mike

Wow. This was predictable.

"High Anxiety" is my favorite Mel Brooks movie. When I was in England, I watched it over and over again. Just found it incredibly stupidly funny. It's strange that a movie hasn't been made about a patient's analyst going on vacation and having the patient track down the analyst and join the vacation. Sounds like something that Bill Murray could be in, but who knows where he is nowadays. What a missed opportunity.

Predictably, you played Melanie.

Have I heard his show before?

I've never been to an analyst, maybe I should. Could probably keep them rolling in the money for years.

Both Melanie and Nancy Tucker remind me of Kate Micucci, wonder if she got her style from them?

I don't like "theme" shows.
